Some believe that the fiery spirit of the Cristi family can be traced back to Jean Baptiste Christy-Palliere Vangeon, a Frenchman of possible Italian descent who arrived in colonial Chile 120 years before the country gained independence in 1810. Initially importing fabrics from Europe, the Cristi family eventually expanded into entrepreneurship, taking on maternal surnames of Spaniards and Irish such as Velásquez, Morales, Humeres, Díaz, Zeballos, Egañas, Prado, Poet, and Pizarro. The Chilean criollo generation furthered commerce and trade during the 19th and 20th centuries. Now, a new chapter of the extensive Cristi family history is being written in the United States in the 21st century.

Entrepreneurs often find solutions to societal problems by identifying their underlying principles and engaging with the public to establish the necessary infrastructure. This approach was pioneered by Luis Alberto Cristi and Marina Pizarro in 1930 and has since inspired a new generation of entrepreneurs who have ventured into California and beyond to make a difference in the 21st century.

In 2023, Cristi-Pizarro and their family expanded in the United States and celebrated over 1,000 combined candles. They achieved this through their adventures, sacrifices, and gained knowledge. Here, they aim to share some of their best tips.

Se dice que cuando un emprendedor contempla un problema social, identifica una solución y establece una infraestructura según sus principios para aplicar solución a través de un compromiso con el proceso público.  Es con este compromiso de espíritu emprendedor y en homenaje al esfuerzo y trabajo que ha caracterizado a la familia Cristi - Pizarro y a sus descendientes con otros apellidos, que en el año 2023 juntan más de 1,000 velas de vivencias y conocimiento en Chile y Estados Unidos comparten este sitio.  Y estos dichos.:
